Lois & Pete : Going Forward Together

Lois and Pete have an amazing story and I am happy to share it with you...

Last year, both of them experienced something that so many people deal with...they lost their spouses. Pete lost his wife unexpectedly in February from a heart attack and Lois lost her husband in the summer from a long battle with cancer. They each ended up joining the same Life group at The Cove Church in Mooresville. The group is for anyone who has lost a loved one. They attended the meetings every Monday not really knowing each other, but still being supportive one another.

One particular Sunday the preacher was speaking on listening to God and "moving forward." Lois noticed that Pete was fidgeting alot and it seemed like God was really working on him. After church the Life Group was going out for coffee. Lois invited Pete, but he declined....she could tell he was really thinking about what the preacher had said. After Lois left church she called Pete to tell him that whatever God was telling him to do, to do it and that He would meet him there. Pete didn't say anything.

Later on in the week Pete called Lois to see if she would meet him for dinner. She agreed and they made plans to meet at a local restaurant. Lois had no idea what Pete wanted to talk to her about. While they waited on their food Pete said to Lois "Will you go forward with me?" Lois was shocked but she said "Yes" that she would.

After that night they became inseparable. The love between them grew fast and it was evident that God brought them together.

Anybody that knows me, knows that I cry at the drop of a hat! AND...when I know someone and I photograph their wedding it makes it even worse! The ceremony was so touching and all I have to say is PRAISE THE LORD for auto focus!!

Jennifer: You have a God-given talent to "capture the moment". You also have a photographers "eye". Thank you so much for taking our photographs. You are awesome. I love you.
