WOW what a day!!! So much happened during this session that I have to split it up into two posts! I had so much fun doing Kristi's and Chris's engagement session (which I will hopefully be posting sometime this week) so I knew Kristi's bridal session would be nothing less. I think we all laughed the entire time!
It was beyond hot outside but Kristi did a fantastic job and didn't complain once!
We started off in this spectacular field of yellow flowers. Anybody happen to know what they are? And no, they aren't Black eyed Susan's.
What do you do when your weding gown has a string and there are no scissors around? Bite it...
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this!!! The blue shoes look awesome!!!
After we finished at the field we drove around until we found the perfect spot for what I wanted to do next. We totally ignored the sign.... Ooooops.
Here's a little video of Kristi getting her makeup touched up. I loved this location so much! These next ones are my favorite from the day :-)

Debbi & Mark : Contest Winners
Last year when I announced I was having a contest for free wedding photography, I didn't know what to expect when the entries started rolling in. I didn't think it would be fair for me to to vote...after all, I'm the one who would be taking the pictures...and I didn't want the winners to be chosen just because of a cool location for a great photo opportunity. So.....I had a panel of judges vote for me. The votes were not hard to tally. Debi and Mark received almost all of the votes. I am so happy to share with you an excerpt from their entry, and even more happy to share some photos from their sweet day.
"Mark and I have had many challenges over the past several years but I am grateful on a daily basis for all that we are blessed with. I look at him and just marvel that his man – who gave away free Christmas trees to people who couldn't afford them this year and helps people broken down on the side of the road – has chosen me to spend his life. This man loves my children as his own, and never ceases to amaze me in how patient he is with me and my quirks. We are so different and yet those differences seem to complement instead of detract. I am strong where he is weak and he is strong where I am weak. "
This is the coolest Groom's cake I have ever seen!
At the reception they had a chocolate fountain and fruit. You got a skewer with fruit and then stuck it in the fountain of chocolate. One of the children used the tip of her skewer to draw this tiny little photo on her plate! I LOVE IT!!!!
