The Huffman Family

Meet the Huffman Family...
Jonathan,Rebecca, Ansley, & Bailey.
The weather was PERFECT for photographing and they did such a fantastic job! They were willing to try anything :-) I felt bad because the ground was wet, but they didn't seem to mind.
I think this location was a prefect choice for this awesome family!

Does anyone wanna guess what's in those white bags???

It started out to be such a wonderful day then it got HOT fast! I had so much fun with them and I can't wait for their wedding.....at Carrigan Farms :-)

2011 Free Wedding Photography Contest!

CLICK HERE FOR THE 2012 CONTEST CLICK HERE

I love photographing weddings....This is the day that two people in love join their lives together and commit to love each other forever. There are happy, sad, funny, and even awkward moments. I even get teary eyed......when the father of the Bride sees his daughter for the first time in her gown, when the groom sings a song to his Bride during the ceremony, when the sister or best friend tells stories of how wonderful their friendship is.... Each of those moments are special and I get to photograph it all! I am blessed to have a job where I can meet wonderful people and share my gift.

Now to the good part.....

Are you getting married in 2011? Do you have an awesome love story? Have you or your fiance overcome something that most people don't? Then I want to hear your story!!!!

Here is what I am looking for:

A true love story. (If you are getting married than you automatically qualify!)

You have to be getting married in 2011.

You must have a set date and location (willing to work with this).

You must be willing to allow some of your photos to be posted on http://jenniferbrownphotography.blogspot.com/.

Travel/accomodations will be discussed with the winner and some travel fees may apply.

What I'm not looking for:

Someone who is having a totally expensive wedding ( Out of country weddings are OK...I know that can turn out to be cheaper.)

Someone who is just looking for a free ride.

A made-up story.

You must have not already booked a photographer. (this is a HUGE one!)

Does this sound like you or someone you know? Then here is what you need to do:

Copy the form below and send it to me ALONG with a photo of you and your fiance to jenniferscamera1@aol.com You must answer every question. The winner will receive up to 4 hours of FREE wedding photography coverage, (DVD of images with copyright.) All entries must be received by January 20, 2011. In order to select a winner I must have at least 4 applicants. Me and a panel of judges will decide on a winner which will be notified no later than January 22, 2011 . Good luck to everyone!

Kristi : Bridal PART 1

WOW what a day!!! So much happened during this session that I have to split it up into two posts! I had so much fun doing Kristi's and Chris's engagement session (which I will hopefully be posting sometime this week) so I knew Kristi's bridal session would be nothing less. I think we all laughed the entire time!

It was beyond hot outside but Kristi did a fantastic job and didn't complain once!

We started off in this spectacular field of yellow flowers. Anybody happen to know what they are? And no, they aren't Black eyed Susan's.

What do you do when your weding gown has a string and there are no scissors around? Bite it...

After we finished at the field we drove around until we found the perfect spot for what I wanted to do next. We totally ignored the sign.... Ooooops.

Here's a little video of Kristi getting her makeup touched up. I loved this location so much! These next ones are my favorite from the day :-)

Kristi was sitting down in the chair and all of a sudden she started screaming...jumped in the chair with 3 inch heels on...kept screaming...lept out of the chair across the filed...kept screaming.... All I heard was "get it off of me! get that thing off of me!!!" When I finally saw what she was screaming about, I ran! We all ran and no one helped her! There a MASSIVE wolf spider crawling up the back of her train. I have seen these kind of spiders before, but I guess out in the "wilderness" they dont get stepped on as much, so they grow extra large. OH BOY was it HUGE!!! Poor Kristi.... She twisted her ankle when she landed in her heels.

As we headed back to the truck to put the chair in the back an officer passed us. He slowed down and I knew he was gonna come back and get us. Sure enough he turned around. He pulled into the drive behind us and I could here Krisit telling him we were leaving....too many spiders. She walked over closer to his car and I heard her say "Sure." I couldn't believe what she said....The officer wanted his picture with Kristi!! HA!!!

Photobucket

After the spider incident she was freaked out, hurt and hot so we decided to go. This little guy decided he wanted a ride...

I hope you enjoyed part 1!!! Be on the lookout for part 2!!
